Whole wheat eggless healthy Homemade pav recipe





Ingredients :
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour 
  • 1/2 maida (all-purpose flour)
  • 1/2 cup milk 
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 2 tbsp dry yeast
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt 
  • 1 tbsp butter 
  •  milk for brushing on top
  • Butter for applying over baked pav  
Method :
Take milk and water in a saucepan. Heat till it turns warm and set aside. Now take yeast and sugar in a bowl, pour little of warm liquid over it. Mix well. Set aside for 10 minutes. Take both flours in a big bowl, add in salt and mix well. Pour in the foamy and activated yeast mix and milk. Mix well. The dough will be very sticky. Now add oil and mix well. Cover the bowl with a muslin cloth or plastic wrap and put the bowl in a warm place to rise for two hours. Now knock back the dough down and add more flour as needed. Now take the dough and divided it into equal portions. Now take a portion and roll it into a smooth ball. Arrange the ball in a baking tray or cake pan or aluminum foil paper. Once it is all done, cover with a plastic wrap or muslin cloth and let it rise for 1 more hour. 
Preheat oven to 200 Degree C ( I baked in the pan). Now the dough will be well risen and stick to each other. Now brush the top with some milk and back for 40-45 minutes. Remove and brush some butter over the top. Serve it with batata (potato)vada, samosa, bhajia, bhaji.
