Kalonji Aloo (Nigella seeds and potatoes) stir-fry recipe




Ingredients :

  • 4 pieces medium potatoes, boiled, peeled and cut into four parts  
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp Nigella seeds (kalonji)
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds 
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • few curry leaves 
  • 2 green chilies 
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder 
  • 1 tsp red chili powder 
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala 
  • salt to taste 
Method :

Heat oil in a pan, add all seeds, crackle them. Add curry leaves, and green chilies. Now add potatoes, salt, and all spices powder. Saute for 4-5 minutes on the medium flame. Turn off the flame. Serve it with chapati, paratha, puri.
