How To Make Vegan Whole Wheat Flour Choco-Lava Cake Without Oven






Ingredients :
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour 
  • 4 tbsp cocoa powder 
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda 
  • 1 pinch of salt 
  • 1/2 cup sugar 
  • 1 cup warm water 
  • 4 tbsp sunflower oil 
  • 2 tbsp vinegar or lemon juice 
  • 1 tbsp vanilla essence 
  • 100 grams dark chocolate 
Method :

Take a plate and place a sieve on it. Add wheat flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Keep aside Now in another big bowl take sugar and warm water. Stir till all the sugar is dissolved. Then add oil and stir very well. Add vinegar or lemon juice. Mix well. Now add in flour and mix very well with a wire whisk. Next, add in vanilla essence. Mix again and make a thick batter. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan. Then place a chunk of dark chocolate in the batter. Gently press the chocolate, so that they get immersed in the batter.

Baking choco lava cake in a pan:

Take a thick bottomed pan or kadhai. Add some salt or sand. Next, place a steel baking ring and aluminum dish. Place the pan on the stove and heat the salt/sand on a medium flame. This is like preheating the oven. Now carefully place the baking tin on the salt or sand inside the heated pan.  Cover with a lid and let the cake bake for 40 minutes on a low flame. Check whether the cake is done by inserting a knife or toothpick at the side of the cake. The cake is ready when the knife comes out clean. Remove the cake from the pan and let it cool for a few minutes. Place a plate over the cake and carefully turn it upside down, unmoulding it from the tin. Your choco-lava cake is ready to be enjoyed!
