Besan (gram flour) ka laddu recipe



Ingredients :
  • 1 cup gram flour (besan)
  • 1 tbsp semolina (rava or sooji)
  • 4 tbsp ghee
  • 1/2 cup sugar powder 
  • some chopped dry fruits (cashew nuts, almonds and pistachio)
Method :

Take a heavy bottom pan and heat ghee. Now add gram flour and semolina. Add few cashew nuts. Lower the flame let the gram flour roast stirring constantly to avoid burning. Once the color of the gram flour and cashew changed to light golden and a sweet aroma. Remove from the heat and allow the gram flour to cool down for 10 minutes. Do not add sugar powder to hot flour. Later add sugar and dry fruits to the gram flour and mix thoroughly. Now grease your palms with little oil and form lemon size balls of the mixture. For garnish place a cashew nut in the center top. Besan laddu are ready for served.
