Arvi (Colocasia) ki special sabzi recipe




Ingredients :
  • 250 gms. Arvi(colocasia), boiled, peeled and chopped into round shape 
  • 1 medium onion, chopped 
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder 
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder 
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder 
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper powder 
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala 
  • salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 bay leaf 
  • 1 tbsp oil 
  • 1/2 tsp dry fenugreek leaves (Kasuri methi)
Method :

 All spices, salt and some water put in a small bowl and keep it a said. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, bay leaf. When the seeds are crackle, add chopped onion and saute for 1 minute. Now add Arvi (Colocasia) and saute for few seconds. Add all spices mixture and saute for 2 minutes on medium flame. Add 1 bowl water and cook about  3-4 minutes on medium flame. Add crushed Kasuri methi(dry fenugreek leaves) and mix well. Turn off the flame. Transfer to a serving bowl and serve it with paratha, chapati, puri.
