Masala Makhana

Ingredients : 

  • 100 gm makhane (Lotus seeds)
  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  • black salt or salt to taste 
  • few curry leaves 

Method :
Heat a pan, add ghee, curry leaves, red chili powder, black pepper powder and black salt. Now add Lotus seeds and mix well. Toast for 1-2 minutes on the low flame. Turn off the flame. After the toasted makhana cools down, keep it in an airtight jar. Serve it during snacks time.
