Potato veg. masala grilled Sandwich recipe






Ingredients : 
  • 8 slices bread 
  • 2 medium sized potatoes, boiled, peeled and mashed 
  • 1/4 cup sweet corn 
  • 1 small onion, chopped 
  • 4-5 garlic, finely chopped 
  • 1 carrot, grated 
  • 1 tbsp cauliflower, grated 
  • 1 green chilli, finely chopped
  • salt to taste 
  • 1/4 tsp red chilli powder 
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala powder 
  • 1 tbsp oil 
  • 4 tbsp cheese, grated 
  • 1 tbsp roasted sesame seeds
  • few drops oil or butter 
Method :

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan, add onion, garlic and green chilli. After few seconds, add carrot, cauliflower, corn, saute for another few seconds. Now add mashed potato and stir for 1 minute. Add salt, all spices and sesame seeds. Mix well. Turn off the flame. Take one slice of bread and place about 2 tbsp of the potato mixture (aloo masala) on the bread. Add 1 tbsp cheese the top of this slice. Cover with another bread slice and butter or oil the top of this slice. Heat a tawa. Place the sandwich, butter side down on the heated pan. Butter the other side now, press down gently with a spatula and grill the sandwich until both sides are crispy and golden brown. Cut the sandwiches in half diagonally. And serve it hot with tomato sauce.
