Gobi (Cauliflower) masala paratha recipe



Ingredients :
  • 1 cup wheat flour 
  • 1/2 cup cauliflower (Gobi), grated 
  • 2 green chilies, finely chopped 
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated 
  • 1/4 tsp red chilli powder 
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder 
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala powder 
  • salt to taste 
  • a pinch of asafoetida (Hing)
  • 1 tbsp oil 
  • oil or ghee for shallow frying 
Method :

In a big bowl or plate, add flour, cauliflower, green chilli, ginger, salt, hing, oil, and all spices. Mix well. Using water knead into a smooth dough. Divide the dough into 5 equal portions. Take a portion and rolling round roti or paratha. Place the paratha on a hot tawa. Cook it on the medium low flame. Add 1 tbsp oil and fry both sides till it becomes golden brown color. Remove on the plate. Serve it with curd or raita or any chutney.
