Cabbage and corn stir-fry recipe




Ingredients :

  • 2 cups cabbage, chopped 
  • 1/2 cup corn 
  • 1 onion, chopped 
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder 
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp red chilli powder 
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala powder 
  • salt to taste 
  • 1 tbsp oil 
  • 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp fennel seeds
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • few coriander leaves for garnishing  

Method :
Heat oil in a pan, add all the seeds and crackle them. Add onion and saute for 1 minute. Add cabbage, corn and salt. Mix well. Cover the pan and cook for 1-2 minutes on medium  flame. Add all spices powder and mix thoroughly. Cook and continue stirring until the cabbage is soft, that will take about 5 minutes. Turn off the flame. Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve it with chappatis, puri etc.
