Adrak or Aadu (Ginger) paak recipe




Adrak or Aadu paak is good for those child who has a cold problem in winter and rainy season. Take a small piece of this every day and after that drink a glass of water. It is very beneficial in cold and good fro throat infection too.

Ingredients :
  • 1/2 cup grated Ginger
  • 1 cup jaggery 
  • 2 tbsp ghee 
Method :

In a heavy bottom pan, add jaggery. Cook jaggery till a thick syrup is formed. When jaggery dissolves. Add grated ginger stir and cook for 5-7 minutes on low flame. Add ghee and mix them, cook 2-3 minutes. Turn off the flame. Now immediately spread on greased plate. Let it cool slightly before cutting into any shape. When cooled and store in airtight container. Keep it for 30-45 days.
