Vegetarian eggless omelette recipe




Ingredients :
  • 1/2 cup wheat flour
  • 1 tbsp rice flour
  • 1 tbsp gram flour 
  • 2 tbsp oats 
  • 2 tbsp french beans, finely chopped 
  • 2 tbsp corn
  • 2 tbsp green peas 
  • 2 tbsp carrot, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves, finely chopped
  • 1 onion, finely chopped 
  • 4-5 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 2-3 green chillies 
  • salt to taste 
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder 
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala 
  • Oil for shallow  fry
Method :
In a big bowl, mix all the ingredients together, excepted oil. Slowly add water little by little at a time. Mix well, make a medium thick batter. (Like a thick dosa batter).
Heat a non-stick pan or tawa, grease it with few drops oil. Pour a big spoon of batter at the center and spread evenly to form almost round pancake. Add again some oil drops on the edges and top of the omelette. Now cover it with a lid and cook on medium flame. When it is cooked and is brown color on a side, flip over and cook the other side. Cook the vegetarian omelette till both sides are cooked.  Serve hot with any sauce or chutney.
