Delicious Gajar (carrot) ka halwa recipe without milk,mawa, cream and milkmaid (A healthy)




Ingredients :
  • 1/2 kg. carrot peeled and grated 
  • 1/2 cup sugar or sugar to your taste 
  • 1 tbsp ghee 
  • 1/4 cup cashew nut paste 
  • 1 tbsp raisins 
  • 1/4 tsp green cardamom powder 
  • 4 Almonds, chopped 
  • few pieces, walnuts
Method :

Soak cashew nuts in warm water for 20 minutes. Make a fine paste with little water.
 Heat ghee in a pan, add grated carrots, sugar and mix well and cook for about 10 minutes on medium flame. Add cashew paste and raisins. Cook until the water has dried. This will take about 10-12 minutes. Turn off the flame. Mix cardamom powder. Garnish with Almonds and walnuts. Serve it hot or chilled.
