Palak-kabuli chana (spinach with chickpeas) ki recipe



Ingredients :
  • 1 cup spinach, boiled and cool
  • 1/2 cup chickpeas, boiled 
  • 1 medium onion, chopped 
  • 1 big tomato, finely chopped 
  • 1 green chilli 
  • few curry leaves
  • 1/4 tsp cumin seeds 
  • salt to taste 
  • 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
  • a pinch of garam masala 
  • 1/2 tsp ginger powder or paste 
  • 1 tbsp oil 
Method :
Grind into a fine paste with spinach and green chilli. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and crackle it. Add curry leaves and onion, saute for 1 minute. Add tomato, salt and all spices powder and saute for 2-3 minutes on medium flame. Add chickpeas and cook for 2 minutes. Now add spinach paste and mix well. Cook for 1 minute. Turn off the flame. Serve it with paratha, chapati and naan.
