Bajre (pearl millet flour) ki roti recipe

Ingredients :
  • 1+1/2 cups Bajre ka atta (pearl millet flour)
  • 1/2 cup wheat flour (Gehun ka atta)
  • 1/4 tsp salt or salt to taste
  • warm water, as required 
Method :
In a big bowl, add two flours and salt together. Add warm water gradually to flour and knead into a firm dough. Divide the dough into 10-11 equal portions. Now roll each part into a ball and then flatten it. Dust the rolling surface with bajra or wheat flour. Place the flattened dough ball on it and roll into round shape of medium thickness. Heat a tava (griddle) till it is hot. Turn down the heat to medium. Place the roti onto the hot tava and let cook for 2 minutes. Now flip the roti and cook the other side for 2-3 minutes. Again flip the roti and cook for 1 minute and remove from heat. Serve hot with sabzi, palak paneer and chutney.
