Spring onion pulao recipe



Ingredients :
  • 2 cups of cooked rice 
  • 1 cup spring onion, finely chopped 
  • 1-2 green chillies, chopped 
  • 2 tbsp sweet corn 
  • 2 tbsp carrot, finely chopped 
  • 1 tbsp oil or butter 
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala
  • 1/4 tsp red chilli powder 
  • 1/4 tsp pepper powder 
  • salt to taste 
  • a pinch of cinnamon powder 
  • 1 tbsp Apple cider vinegar or lemon juice 
  • 2 tbsp spring onion, finely chopped 
  • tomato slice for garnishing   
Method :

Heat oil or butter in a pan, add carrot, green chilli, corn and spring onion saute for 1 minute on high flame. Add all spices and salt and saute for 2-3 minutes on medium flame. Add the cooked rice and stir for 5 minutes on medium flame. Add apple cider vinegar or lemon juice and mix well. Turn off the flame. Garnish with spring onion and a tomato slice. Serve with raita or curd.
