Creamy Broccoli curry in Indian style recipe




Ingredients :
  • 1 medium piece Broccoli, chopped and boil 
  • 2-3 big green chillies, seedless 
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp garlic-ginger paste
  • 2 tbsp onion paste 
  • 1/2 cup tomato puree  
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 5-7 pepper corn 
  • 1/2 chilli powder 
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala powder 
  • salt to taste 
  • 2 cloves 
  • 2 green cardamom 
  • 1 small cinnamon stick 
  • 1 bay leaf 
  • 1-star anise 
  • 2 butter 
  • 4 tbsp cashew paste for gravy thickness and creamy 
  • 2 tbsp fresh cream for garnishing 
Method :
Heat butter in a pan, add cardamom, cinnamon stick, pepper corn, cloves, star anise and bay leaf. Add onion and saute for 1 minute. Add garlic-ginger and onion paste, saute for again a minute and add all spices powder. Add  tomato puree and salt and saute for 2-3 minutes on high flame. Add cashew paste and mix well. Saute for 5 minutes on medium flame. Add 1/2 cup water, allow to boil. Add boiled Broccoli and green chillies, mix them. Cook for 5-7 minutes on medium flame. Turn off the flame. Transfer into serving bowl and garnish with fresh cream. Serve it rice, chapati, paratha, pulao and puri.
