Spicy Soya chunks sabzi recipe




Ingredients :
  • 1cup soya chunks 
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp ginger paste
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped 
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds 
  • 1 bay leaf 
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder 
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper powder 
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala 
  • salt to taste 
  • 2 tbsps oil
Method :
In a pan, add a glass water and 1/2 tsp salt, when water is boiling, add soya chunks and boil for 5 minutes for high flame. Take out the pan from the heat and squeeze out of all water and keep aside. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds,bay leaf and chopped onion fry till the colour changes to brown. Add all spices and ginger paste, saute for few seconds. Add tomato and salt saute till they become soft. Add soya chunks and mix well. Add 1 cup of water and mix them. Cook for 5-7 minutes on medium flame. Turn off the flame. Serve it with rice, chapati, paratha.
