Karare karela chips recipe

Ingredients :
  • 2 pieces bitter gourd (karela )
  • 1 tbsp rice flour or cornflour 
  • 1 tsp gram flour (Besan)
  • 1/4 tsp black salt 
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper powder 
  • a pinch of asafoetida (Hing)
  • 1/4 tsp dry mango(amchur)powder 
  • 1/2 tsp chaat masala 
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder 
  • Oil for frying 
Method :
Wash karela and dry it with a towel. Remove the stem and cut them into thin round slices. Put the karela in a plate or bowl, add cornflour or rice flour, gram flour, black salt, hing and all spices and mix well and keep aside for 5 minutes. Heat oil in a pan and drop the bitter gourd slices into the hot oil. Deep fry on low medium flame till golden brown color and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper. Sprinkle a pinch of  chaat masala and serve it hot.
