Dahi wali mushroom(yogurt mushroom) recipe




Ingredients :
  • 1 packet mushroom (200 gms.)
  • 2 tbsp onion paste
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 green chillis, chopped 
  • 1/4 cup whisked yogurt or curd
  • 4 tbsp cashew paste 
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp dry ginger powder or fresh ginger paste
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp fennel seeds
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 cloves
  • 1green cardamom 
  • 2 tbsp butter 
Method :
To blanch mushroom in warm water. Drain and chop into four or two parts. Heat 1 tbsp butter in a pan, add chopped green chilli, few chopped onion and mushroom, stir-fry it for 2 minutes and keep
out side in a plate. In the same pan, add 1 tbsp butter, cumin, fennel seeds, cloves, green cardamom and crackle them. Add chopped onion saute for 1 minute. Add onion paste and saute for 2 minutes. Add masala powder and salt  saute for 5 minutes on the medium flame. Add whisked yogurt and stir for 1 minute. Now add cashew paste and mix well. Add stir-fried mushroom and add 1/2 bowl water and cook for 2-3 minutes on medium flame. Turn off the flame. Serve with Rice, chapatis, paratha and pulao.
