Thai basil-garlic sour soup recipe


 Thai Basil-garlic sour soup
Ingredients :

  • 5-7 Thai basil leaves 
  • 2 tbsp, finely chopped carrot (optional)
  • 2-3 bowls water 
  • 1 tbsp garlic, grated 
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper powder 
  • 1/4 tsp dried ginger powder 
  • a pinch of cinnamon powder 
  • 1 tbsp Apple cider vinegar 
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce 
  • salt to taste 
  • 1 tbsp cornflour with 1/2 cup water  
  • 1 tsp butter

Method :
Heat butter in a pan, add garlic and carrot saute for few seconds. Add water and cook for 5 minutes. Now add salt, ginger powder, black pepper and cinnamon powder mix well. Now add cornflour dissolved in water and cook for 2-3 minutes, add soy sauce and Apple cider vinegar and mix well. And just turn off the flame. Serve it hot in Rainy season or winter season.

Note:
You can also use Indian Basil leaves but don't add garlic.
