Jackfruit seeds(Kthal ke beej) kebab recipe





Ingredients :

  • 1 cup jackfruit seeds, boiled and peeled 
  • 2 big potatoes, boiled, peeled and grated
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 5 garlic cloves 
  • 1 medium piece ginger 
  • 3 green chillies, chopped 
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder 
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala powder 
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder 
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds  
  • salt to taste 
  • Oil for shallow fry  

Methode :
Wash the jackfruit seeds properly and then pressure cooker for 3-4 whistles with a glass of water. After it cools, peel the boiled seed's skin.
In a mixer, add seeds, garlic-ginger and grind them, without water. Grind till it forms a paste. Transfer it into a big bowl, add seeds paste, grated potato, chopped onion, salt, red chilli powder, black pepper powder, garam masala and mix well. Now, make it into a roll and coat it with sesame seeds and keep aside.
Now, heat 2 tbsps oil in a tawa and shallow fry till golden brown and remove from the tawa. Serve it with any chutney.

Note:
I used jackfruit seeds, if you have no jackfruit seeds. You can also use kidney beans, chickpeas or any seeds.
