Veg. Stuffed Mushroom recipe


Stuffed Mushroom





Ingredients : 
  • 11-12 White Button Mushrooms 
  • 4 tbsp grated cheese 
  • 2 tbsp onion, very finely chopped 
  • 2 tbsp capsicum, very finely chopped
  • 1 small tomato, very finely chopped (removed seeds)
  • 1 tsp garlic, grated or past 
  • 2 green chillies, very finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp butter 
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1/4 tsp mix pizza masala powder 


Method :
Wash and clean Mushroom using warm water. Cut around the stem and remove it. Clean the cap of the mushrooms and keep it aside.

Now heat 1 tsp oil in a pan, add onion, garlic, capsicum, green chillies and a pinch of salt. Mix and stir for 1 minute. Now, add tomato, black pepper and just turn off the heat and mix them thoroughly. Now, add grated cheese, pizza masala powder and mix well. Now fill all caps of the mushrooms with this filling and keep aside. Heat butter in a tawa and shallow fry the stuffed mushroom caps on the medium flame. Serve it as a starter.

Note: You can use the mushroom stems as filling too by finely chopping them and mixing in the filling mixture.
