Spicy garlic-onion chutney pav with aloo tikki recipe

Ingredients :

  • 6 pieces pav
  • 6 pieces aloo (potato) tikki
  • 6 tsp spicy garlic-onion chutney
  • 1 tsp butter for toasting pav

For Spicy garlic-onion chutney,
  • 4 tbsp garlic paste
  • 1 onion finely chopped 
  • 2 tbsp Kashmiri red chilli powder 
  • salt to taste 
  • 4 tbsp oil 

Method :

For spicy garlic-onion chutney-

Heat oil in a pan, add chilli powder and just add garlic paste, salt and saute for 5 minutes on medium flame. Now, add finely chopped onion and mix well. Turn off the flame. Serve it with pav aloo tikki, vada pav etc. It keeps in fridge for 3-4 days.

Spicy garlic-onion chutney 

For Pav:

Heat butter in a tava and toast pav both sides on low flame.  Now, take a pav and slice the pav without breaking it into two parts. Spread spicy onion-garlic chutney on the sliced pav and put a warm aloo tikki between the pav. Serve it hot with garlic chutney and any sweet chutney.
