Vegetables with cheese stuffed bread pakoda recipe




Ingredients :
For stuffed,

  • 8 slices of bread 
  • 1 capsicum finely chopped
  • 1 onion finely chopped 
  • 1 tbsp garlic grated 
  • 4 tbsp cheese grated 
  • salt to taste 
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper 
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder 
  • 1 tbsp tomato sauce 
  • 1 tsp oil 
For batter, 
  • 1 cup of all purpose flour (maida)
  • salt to taste 
  • 1/2 tsp garlic-ginger pest 
  • A pinch of baking powder 
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • Oil for frying 


Method :
To make the filling,

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan, add garlic, onion, capsicum, salt, chilli powder and black pepper powder. And saute for 2 minutes on medium flame. Now, add tomato sauce and mix them and remove from the heat and keep aside. Now for batter,  In a big bowl add flour, salt, garlic-ginger past, baking powder and water and mix well. Make a thick batter. Take a bread slice and add 1 tbsp cheese and 2 tbsp vegetables mixture on bread slice and cover on a another bread slice on it. Now, cut the stuffed bread slice into two parts. Heat oil in a frying pan, dip it in the maida batter and fry it golden brown colour.
Take it out on a kitchen tissue paper. Serve it tomato sauce or mayonnaise or any sauce.
