Hari muttar (Green peas) ki patties or tikki recipe

Ingredients :

  • 1 cup green peas, boiled 
  • 2 potatoes, boiled, peeled and grated 
  • 2-3 green chillies
  • 6-7 garlic cloves
  • a small piece ginger 
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp cornflour 
  • salt to taste 
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper 
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala
  • 1/4 tsp red chilli powder 
  • 2 cup bread crumbs 
  • Oil for frying 

Method :
In a mixer, add the boiled peas, ginger, garlic, green chillies and grind without water. Grind till it forms a smooth paste. In a big bowl, add peas paste, grated potato, onion, cornflour, salt, red chilli, black pepper, garam masala powder mix well. Now, make it into flat round patties or tikki and coat it with bread crumbs and keep aside. Heat oil and deep fry the peas tikki till it goes golden. Drain it on absorbent paper. It serve with in burger buns or as a kebab with sauce.
