Hari Mirchi(Green chillies) stir-fried recipe

Green chilli stir-fried 

Step 1.

Ingredients :

  • 5-6 big green chillies, cut into circle 
  • 1 tbsp oil 
  • 1/4 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/4 tsp fennel seeds (Sounf)
  • a pinch of Asafoetida (Hing)
  • 1/4 tsp onion seeds (kalounji)
  • salt to taste 
  • a pinch of turmeric powder 
  • a pinch of red chilli powder 
  • 1/2 tsp dried mango (Aamchoor) powder 
  • 1 tbsp lime juice or cooking vinegar 

Method :
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, fennel seeds,onion seeds, hing (Asafoetida) and crackle them. Now, add chopped green chillies, salt and saute for 1 minute on the medium lower flame. Now, add turmeric, red chilli powder and mix them. After few seconds, add Aamchoor (dried mango)powder and mix well. Turn off the flame and mix lime juice or cooking vinegar. Serve as a pickle, with roti paratha etc.
