Eggless Chocolate cake recipe

Eggless Chocolate cake recipe 

For the cake,
  • 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar powder 
  • 2 tbsp Cocoa powder 
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda 
  • 1/2 cup Oil or 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted 
  • 1/2 cup of milk 
  • 1/2 cup  of water
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract 
For Cocoa Sauce,
  • 1/2 cup of Cocoa powder 
  • 1 cup of sugar 
  • 1 tsp butter unsalted butter 
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • 2 tbsp milk  
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla extract 
  • Few walnut  for garnishing 
Method :

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Grease a pan with a tsp oil and dust with flour. Set the pan ready and keep aside. In a large bowl or pan, Sieve flour, baking powder, baking soda and Cocoa powder. Add oil or melted butter, sugar powder and mix well. Add milk and water, vanilla extract. With a spoon, mix all the ingredients together until well combine and there are no lumps. Now it pour in the greased baking pan. Bake in preheat oven for 35-40 minutes or until the cake springs back when lightly pressed and a toothpick or knife inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean. Now your cake is ready. Remove from oven and place on a wire rack or steel plate to cool down.

Preparation of the Cocoa sauce, In a saucepan, add water, sugar to boil for 5 minutes on high flame. Now add in butter, milk and mix well and remove. Once melted let it thicken a little. Now, cool down, pour it on the cooled cake. Garnish with walnut on the top and let it settle down. Now chill it in fridge for 30 minutes to set, cut and serve it.
