Chilli- paneer(Cottage cheese) recipe

Chilli-paneer 
Ingredients :
  • 1 cup paneer (cottage cheese)cubs 
  • 1 onion chopped 
  • 2 tomatoes chopped or puree 
  • 1 large capsicum finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp onion paste 
  • 1 tbsp garlic-ginger paste
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder 
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder 
  • 1/4 tsp cumin powder 
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper powder 
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala 
  • salt to taste 
  • 2 bay leaf 
  • 1 cinnamon small stick 
  • 2 green cardamom 
  • 4 cloves 
  • 2 tbsp oil 
  • 1 tsp butter for garnishing 
Method :
Heat 1/2 tbsp oil in a pan and saute capsicum and paneer for 5 minutes on medium flame. Now remove capsicum and paneer. Now heat oil in same pan, add bay leaf, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom and crackle them. Now add chopped onion and saute for 30 second. Add garlic-ginger paste, onion paste turmeric, coriander, cumin, black pepper, red chilli, garam masala, salt and saute for 1 minute. Now add chopped tomatoes or puree and cook for 2 minutes on medium flame. Now add capsicum-paneer and mix well. Now add little water and cook for another 5 minutes and turn off flame. Garnish with butter and serve it with rice, pulou, puri etc.
