Achari Lachha paratha recipe



 Ingredients :

  • 1 cup wheat flour or all purpose flour 
  • 1 tsp onion seeds (kalounji)
  •  salt to taste
  • 4 tbsp pickles masala oil (Achar ka masala wala tel)
  • vegetables oil for shallow frying 
  • Water as required 

Method :
Sieve the flour in a plate. Now in a bowl, add flour, 2 tbsp pickle masala oil, salt, onion seeds and mix well. Add of water knead until smooth dough, cover and keep aside for 10 minutes. Now take some dough and shape into a round ball and flatten a little. Roll out each flattened ball into a circle. Roll like a swiss roll and spread 1 tsp pickle masala oil over the rolled paratha and fold paratha as paratha as shown in the pictures. Now roll the folded paratha in a round dough ball. Dust the dough ball with dry flour. Now rolling with roller pin. Heat a tawa and roast the paratha on both sides. Now add 1 tsp of vegetable oil and shallow fried on both sides. Serve with curd, raita, cheese sauce etc.
