Dahi wale Aloo(Yogurt-potato for fasting) recipe (Flahari)

Dahi wali Aloo for Vrat (fast)

Ingredients :
  • 2 large potatoes(Aloo) boiled, peeled and chopped into cubes
  • 1/2 bowl yogurt(Dahi)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
  • Rock salt to taste (sendha namak)
  • 1 tsp ghee
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 green chilies chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh mint leaves or coriander leaves chopped(puddina patta ya dhaniyan patta)
  • few curry leaves 
Method :
Heat ghee in a pan, add cumin seeds, curry leaves and green chillies. After few seconds, add potatoes cubes, salt and saute for 2 minutes on the medium flame and turn off the flame. Now keep aside for cool down and add yogurt (Dahi), black pepper powder, mint leaves and mix well. Serve it falahar time.
