Dahi wala paneer ki recipe

Dahi wala paneer


 Ingredients :

  • 250 gm. Paneer (cottage cheese) cubes 
  • 1/2 cup curd (Dahi)
  • 1 small finely chopped onion 
  • 2 green chillies 
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 bay leaf  
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • salt to taste 
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder 
  • 1/3 tsp turmeric powder 
  • 1/2 tsp dry ginger(sounth) ka powder
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala (I used home made garam masala)
For the paste,

  • 2 chopped tomatoes 
  • 1 large chopped onion
  • 2-3 garlic cloves 
Method:
In a blender, add chopped tomato,onion, garlic and make a paste. Now heat oil in a pan and fry paneer for 1 minute and remove it. Now in the same pan, add cumin seeds, bay leave, chopped onion, green chillies and saute for 1 minute. Now, add onion, tomato, garlic paste and saute. After 1 minute, add salt and all spices powder and saute for 2-3 minutes on medium flame and add curd(Dahi) and mix well. After 1 minute, add 1/4 bowl water and fried paneer cubes and cook for 5 minutes and switch off the flame. Garnish with a tbsp curd. Serve with rice, pulao, etc.
