Paneer (cottage cheese) masala recipe

Paneer masala 

Ingredients: 
  • 1 cup paneer (cottage cheese) cubes
  • 1 onion paste
  • 1/2 cup tomato paste
  • 1 tsp garlic-ginger paste
  • 1 small onion chopped 
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala 
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  •  salt to taste
  • 2 cloves 
  • 1 cardamom 
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3 tbsp oil 
Method :
Heat oil in a pan, add paneer and fry for 2-3 minutes and remove. Same pan, add onion and saute for 1 minute. Add garlic-ginger paste, onion paste,salt and all spices and saute for 2 minutes. Add tomato paste and saute for 5 minutes and add fried paneer and 1 bowl water and cook for 5 minutes and switch off the flame. Serve with rice roti and puri.
