Kesar wali (Saffron) Ice-cream recipe

Saffron ice-cream 
Hello,summer season is coming . I made saffron ice-cream today. Everybody likes it in summer. Kids like it always- any place, any time. This is a healthy ice-cream. Its made from fresh cream, saffron, sugar and milk etc. I think today these ingredients are available in everybody's house. This is a homemade Ice-cream, without eggs.

Ingredients :

  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 cup fresh cream
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Saffron (kesar) + 4 tbsp warm milk 
  • 1 tbsp cornflour+1/2 cup cold milk 
Method :
Saffron with warm milk keep aside for soak about 10-15 minutes. Begin milk in a pot until it's beginning to simmer, add sugar and mix well and boil for 10 minutes on low flame. Now add cornflour mix cold milk and continuously stir the mixture until it is thick enough to coat the back of a spoon. They remove it from the heat and keep room temperature to cool. When the chilled your milk mixture, they keep in a freeze for 1 hr. Now add in a blender or hand blender pot, fresh cream, saffron with milk and chilled ice-cream mixture and blend for 1 minute. Once the mixture has thickened, transfer it to a bowl and refrigerate for 2-3 hrs. Now remove from the freezer and again beat well it until it becomes rich and creamy. They keep  in the freeze for 8-10 hrs. or overnight. Serve it any time.
