Khasta tikona nimkee recipe

Nimkee is a salty snack. This is a  all purpose flour's recipe, crisp and tasty. It is a traditional Indian snack recipe. We makes in all occasions. It is always amazing to see how a few simple ingredients can make such a deep frying snack.

Fried nimkee 



Ingredients :
  • 1 cup all purpose flour (Maida)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp oil for (moyen) 
  • 1 tsp carom seeds (ajwain)
  • 1/2 tsp onion seeds (kalonji)
  • Oil for frying 
  • enough water to knead the dough 
Method :

In a large bowl, add flour (maida), salt, carom seeds, onion seeds and oil and mix about 1 minute. Now add water slowly to make dough. Knead well to make it a little firm dough. Now take a small ball out of this dough and roll a thin small round puri size. Now sprinkle the 2 drops oil and half fold, again sprinkle 2 drops oil and fold it into a triangle shape. Now press with fingers in the over of the triangle and repeat the over process to make all nimkee. Now fry them in medium hot oil and turn  until light golden brown color and remove in a plate.
