Sweet and sour (khatta- mitha) capsicum-potato finger recipe

Sweet and sour  capsicum-potato finger 

Capsicum, potato fingers cooked with the tomato sauce makes a very unique flavorful dish.
I am trying first time this recipe. This recipe is very delicious and tasty. This is very easy and simple recipe and bring the wonderful flavours.
So that the taste of main ingredients of capsicum and tomato sauce. While you are enjoying this recipe.

Ingredients :

  • 1 capsicum cut into cube size 
  • 1 large potato peeled and cut into finger size
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup sweet corn 
  • 2 tbsp oil for potato frying 
Ingredients for sauce,

  • 1 cup tomato puree 
  • 1 tsp cornflour +4 tbsp water mix liquid 
  • 1 tbsp onion paste
  • 5 garlic cloves finely chopped 
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar 
  • salt to taste 
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder 
  • 1 tsp butter 
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes 
  • 1 tbsp roasted white sesame seeds 
Method :
Heat oil in a pan and add potato finger and fry till they are golden brown color. Now remove it to a plate. Now heat remaining oil in the same pan add chopped capsicum and onion stir for 5 minutes and remove it to the plate. Now heat butter in a pan add chopped garlic, onion paste and saute for 1 minute. Now add tomato puree, sugar, salt, vinegar and saute for 2 minutes and add chilli flakes and mix them. Now add cornflour in the sauce and saute for 30 second. Now add sweet corn, fried potato finger, stir-fry capsicum-onion and saute for 2-3 minutes on the medium flame. Now add black pepper powder and mix well and turnoff the flame and add sesame seeds and mix. Serve it hot.
