Gobi-muttar stuffed(Cauliflower-green peas) paratha recipe

Gobi paratha is the most popular Indian breakfast item and one of the easy Indian food to prepare in quick time. Today, I made gobi and mutter (Cauliflower and green peas) paratha. The gobi-mutter paratha is stuffed with grated cauliflower-green peas and spices. Its very easy and quick making recipe. This paratha has a very different taste, a bit sour and sweet, but yummy. My family likes gobi-mutter paratha. Gobi-mutter is mostly liked by everyone specially by childrens. I hope everybody likes my gobi-mutter paratha recipe.

Gobi-mutter (Cauliflower-green peas)paratha 


For dough,

  • 2 cup wheat flour (Gehun ka atta)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp oil 
  • Kneaded for water 
For stuffing, 
  • 1 small grated cauliflower (gobi ghisa hua)
  • 1/2 cup green peas (muttar) 
  • 1 onion finely chopped 
  • 2 green chilies finely chopped
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder 
  • 1 tsp chilli flakes 
  • 2 tbsp tomato catchup or sauce 
  • Oil or ghee for shallow fry 
Make a dough, in a large bowl, add all ingredients and mix well and add little water at a  time and knead the dough. Dough will be soft and don't need to rest the dough. Now take a plate or big bowl in  add all stuffing ingredients and mix well. Now take a ball of dough and dust the dough ball liberally and roll out, roll out two individual roti for two layer of paratha. Now place one roti in bottom, spread the gobi-muttar stuffing evenly on the roti. Now cover the top with the other layer of roti and press all over the sides. Now heat a tava and put paratha on the tava. Now add 1 tsp oil or ghee and frying both sides golden brown on the medium flame and remove from the tava. Serve with curd or raita, chutney.
