Eggless Strawberry cake recipe

Strawberry cake

My strawberry cake's backstory.
My husband bought strawberries from market. I used next day, but bad condition of strawberries so think, why not make strawberry cake. Then i baked cake, so yummy make strawberry cake and my family is very happy and asked me great your mind. Because not best my strawberry.

There is a backstory of this strawberry cake which goes like this...
My husband bought some strawberries from the market. I had intended to use them the next day but the next day the strawberries had already started to perish, so I thought, why not make a strawberry cake. Hence, I baked a cake. This cake turned out to be so yummy.

  • 1+1/2 cup all purpose flour (maida)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 10-15 chopped strawberries 
  • 5 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda 
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tbsp oil for greasing 
  • 3-4 tbsp homemade strawberry jam for cake garnish 
Method :
In a blender, add chopped strawberries, sugar and make a puree. Now sieve the all purpose flour with baking powder and baking soda. Now in a large bowl, add flour, salt, vegetable oil and mix well. Now add sugar and strawberry puree and stir fast and make a thick batter. Now preheat your oven to 180 degrees C. Grease a cake tin with 1 tbsp oil and spread 1 tbsp dried flour. Now pour the cake batter till about half the cake tin. Now back in a preheat oven for 180 degrees C for 40-45 minutes. Now your cake is ready and keep aside to cool. Now spread on the cake top with strawberry jam.
