Cupid Games 2015

With Valentines Day just around the corner (January has almost come to an end!), planning for the day must've already began for most, if they are in a relationship. For others, who aren't yet into a relationship but have a liking for someone whom they are seeking to propose on the Valentines Day; you have come to the right place. Today I'm going to tell you a few ways to finally ask out your love, in style:

  • Travel back in time, write a letter- Long before technology came into existence and brought along with it various forms of electronic communication, people wrote letters to their beloved to keep in touch. During the 60s and 70s, our beloved Bollywood romanticized this practice and hence, we have something called as 'love letters'. And thankfully, we still live in an age where 'love letters' are considered cute rather than out-dated. So take full advantage of this and write a love letter to your beloved pouring out all your feelings on a piece of beautiful yet sturdy paper (because this one would be preserved, my friend), and slip it into your crush's hand or if you have time and patience #2.
  • Try your hand at treasure hunting- I know it sounds a bit juvenile, but this is an amazing and fun way to propose someone who loves adventure. Get your friends involved, so that nothing seems out of the place to your crush. Personally, I'd love starting off with a nice dinner at the end of which the bill arrives with a clue at the back leading all the way up to  the finale where the treasure chest has the love letter. I know, all of it sounds very cheesy but at the same time it is fun and romantic. I shall again stress the importance of involving friends in this because it will be really very hard to set things up without their help.
  • A little music doesn't hurt, sing a song- Cliche indeed, but there is something very enigmatic looking into the eyes of your crush whilst singing them a song. Our Bollywood has blessed us with hosts of love songs to choose from and if Bollywood fail to impress your crush, we have songs from the west too. At the end of the day, to make things more personalized, you can compose your own song too!
  •  A flash mob wouldn't hurt- This one is a bit bold, of course, it would be, you are engaging people to dance and then you'd pop the question in public! A flash mob followed by a proposal gives an acknowledgement to your crush that you aren't afraid tell the world how you feel about your crush.
A combination of all the four is the boldest one can get when proposing; A dinner's bill with a clue leading to a flash mob with the clue, followed by a song and finally the love letter. It can't get any more romantic, folks!
