A healthy child makes a happy home

A family is incomplete without its children; their nagging, cute little antics and their unconditional love for all. A healthy child leads to a healthy atmosphere at home too, this is a fact which is undeniable, after all bacche ghar ki ronak hote hain. And as parents it is our duty to look after their healthy and keep their immunity strong. This changing weather doesn't make things easier as kids anyways are more susceptible to falling sick.

Enter Dabur Chyawanprash, an ages old concoction of ayurvedic herbs based on a formula prescribed in our veda. It is claimed that it strengthens the immunity of the consumer, if had on a regular basis. Well, Chyawanprash paired with a healthy lifestyle is a sure fire way of making sure that our children don't fall ill.

But the next question that would arise in one's mind is what makes for a healthy lifestyle for a child. It is pretty simple actually, all it takes is a good moderation on diet and also, pushing kids to go out and play with kids of their age (considering today's generation prefer being stuck to their computers all day along).

A healthy diet would consider of wholesome home-made food. I know, I know, it is hard to be content with home-cooked food for kids, them going out with friends ensure that junk food will be consumed regularly. As parents it is our duty to make sure that the outside food our children consume is of good quality and if possible healthy too. Also, if you can, try making them at home too! For that feel free to explore my blog which has recipes ranging right from humble subzi to avant-garde cakes.

I can't really stress onto the importance of exercising; both for kids and adults. Adults don't usually have an option but kids? Make sure your child gets a good workout everyday on the playing field. Why? Because this is their growing years, falling sick will stunt their growth for that period. Also, exercising strengths their body and refreshed their mind, thereby contributing to making of a healthy child.

The last but not the least ingredient for a happy and healthy child is comedy shows and movies. I know you might be wondering, how. Well, lets just begin with the saying that "laughter is the best medicine". A kid is free from the huge troubles of the big bad world, yet, children are very sensitive and you never know what saddens them. It is our duty as parents to make sure that our children are free from such little tensions and enjoy a happy life. Comedy shows lowers the stress levels, diverts the mind and provides kids (and adults too) with much needed break from usual monotony.

So this is my recipe for a healthy child, what's yours? Feel free to share in the comments below.
