Gobi-Methi (cauliflower with fenugreek leaves) stir-fry recipe

Ingredients :

  • 1 small piece cauliflower (Gobi) chupped 
  • 1/2 cup fresh fenugreek leaves (Taaja Methi patta) chopped 
  • 1 onion chopped 
  • 1 green chilly chopped 
  • 1 pinch asafoetida (Hing)
  • salt to taste 
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 
  • 1/4 tsp red chilly powder
  • 1 tbsp oil 

Method :

Heat oil in a pan, add Hing, fenugreek leaves and onion, green chilly and saute for 3 minutes. Now add chopped cauliflower, salt mix and cover with lid and cook for 3-5 minutes on the medium flame. Now open the pan and add all spices powder and mix well and cover for 2 minute. Now check whether your cauliflower is soft and switch off the gas. Serve with rotis, paratha, puri.
