Crunchy and tasty Murmura ladoo(Rice puff balls) recipe

Murmura (Rice puff) ladoo

Ingredients :
  • 500 gms. Rice puff (Murmura)
  • 400 gms. jaggery (chikki gud) 
  • 1 tbsp crush ginger 
  • 1 tbsp roasted sesame seeds 
  • 1/2 bowl water

Method :
 Clean the rice puff (Murmura) and roast in a heated pan for 2-3 minutes. Now remove from the heat and keep aside. Now take a heavy bottom large pan, add jaggery and water. Let the jaggery melt for 5-7 minutes. Now cook on a medium flame until syrup begins to concentrate. Now check whether the jaggery syrup is perfectly done by taking a small bowl with water and adding the jaggery syrup , if you can make a ball of it then the syrup is ready and turn off the flame. Now add Rice puff (Murmura) and constantly stir it. Now add sesame seeds, ginger and mix well and keep aside to cool for 5 minutes. Now wet your hands with little water and make round medium or small balls. Enjoy these ladoos in your snacks time.
