Home made Boondi ka ladoo recipe

Ingredients for boondis,

  • 2 cups gram flour (Besan)
  • 2 tbsp cold milk
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp oil 
  • 1 pinch food colour 
  • Oil for deep fry
Ingredients for sugar syrup,
  • 4 cups sugar 
  • water 2 cups
  • mix for raisin 
Method for Boondi's fry :
Sieve gram flour with baking powder. Now take them in a large bowl, add 1 tbsp oil mix well. Add water little by little to make boondi batter check whether your batter is not too thin or not too thick. Now add, food colour, milk and mix well. Now heat oil in a frying pan, take boondi ladle for frying boondis. Now take the batter and pour it gently over the ladle and rub the batter on the ladle with a  spoon, so that small drops of besan batter drop in the oil. Fry boondis on the medium flame for 2 -3 minutes and boondis turn golden brown, watch boondis does not turn darker in colour. Now remove in a plate and keep aside.

Method for sugar syrup :
Heat a pan, add sugar, water and mix well and boiling for 30-35 minutes. Now check whether your sugar syrup is two string consistency and strain syrup and switch of the flame. Now add, fry boondis, raisin and mix well and keep aside for 10 minutes. Now take some boondis and sugar syrup mixture and make a ball shape ladoos and keep a plate.
