Onion pakoda crispy and tasty recipe

Ingredients :

  • 2 large onion (slice the onions thinly)
  • 1 cup gram flour (Besan)
  • 1 tbsp cornflour or rice flour 
  • salt to taste 
  • 2 chopped green chilly 
  • 1 pinch bicarbonate soda (mitha soda)
  • 1 tsp roasted cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp red chilly powder 
  • 1 tbsp roasted sesame seeds 
  • oil for  deep fry 
Method : 
    In a large bowl, add onions slice, salt, cumin seeds, green chilly, chilly powder, soda, besan, corn flour or rice flour, sesame seeds and add little water and mix well. Now heat oil in a pan for deep frying, then put small portion of onions mixture bit by bit into the oil  and deep fry till golden brown color and take it out from your pan. Serve with tea time ( with chutney).
