Snake gourd sabzi recipe

Cooked snake gourd sabzi
Ingredients :

  • 1/2 kg. snake gourd chopped 
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 
  • 1/2 tsp red chilly powder 
  • 1/3 tsp garam masala powder 
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds 
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds 
  • 8-10 curry leaves 
  • 1 tbsp oil 
Method :
Heat oil in a pan, add cumin, mustard seeds and crackle. Now add onion and curry leaves and saute for 1 minute and add chopped snake gourd stir it, cover with lid for 2 minutes. After open lid and add salt and all spices powder and mix well and again cover with lid and let it cook on medium flame. After some time check them whether soft and dry. Now it remove from the gas and serve with rice, roti and other dishes.
