Kachhe kele(Raw banana) with cheese stuffed Kofta

Ingredients :
Raw banana with cheese stuffed Kofta 
For the Kofta,

  • 2 raw bananas- boiled, peeled and mashed 
  • 4 medium potatoes- boiled, peeled and mashed 
  • 1/2 chopped onion
  • 4 tbsp gram flour (Chana ka besan) 
  • 1/2 tsp ginger paste
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chilly powder 
  • 2 chopped green chilly
  • Oil for deep-frying 
For the stuffing :

  • Some small cheese blocks 


For the gravy :

  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup onion paste
  • 1 cup tomato puree 
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chilly powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala 
  • 1/2 black pepper powder
  • 2 green cardamom
  • 1/2 cumin seeds
  • 3 cloves
  • 2 star anise 
  • 2 sticks cinnamons 
  • 2 tbsp fresh cream 
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • Some small cheese blocks for garnish
Method:
Combine all kofta ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Now take some kofta mixture and stuff a cheese block and make a small ball and keep aside. Now heat oil in a pan and deep-fry the kofta till golden brown and remove from the oil and keep aside. Now again heat 4 tbsp oil, add cinnamon sticks, cumin seeds cardamom, cloves, star anise. When the spices crackle, add chopped onion and saute for 2 minutes. Now add onion paste saute for 2-3 minutes till the onion turn the golden brown, add all spices powder, salt and mix well. Now add tomato puree saute for 5-7 minutes and add 1 bowl water and cook for 5 minutes and add in the gravy all fried kofta balls and cook for 1-2 minutes and remove from the gas and add fresh cream and mix well. Garnish with cheese blocks. Serve hot or cool.
