Homemade pasta and pizza tomato sauce recipe

Sauce garnish with basil leaves 
Ingredients :
  • 500 gms. tomatoes 
  • 8 garlic finely chopped 
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • salt to taste 
  • 2 tbsp chilli flakes 
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder
  • 5 tbsp sugar or jaggery(gud)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or vegetables oil 
  • 10 fresh oregano leaves finely chopped
  • 10 basil leaves finely chopped 
  • 4 tbsp white vinegar 
Method :
Heat a pan, add 1-2 glasses water and tomatoes boiled for 5 minutes. After boiling it drain of all water and keep aside for cool. Now all tomatoes peel and chopped. Now heat oil in a pan, add garlic and onion saute for 1 minute and just add boiled and chopped tomatoes stir-fry for 2 minutes. Now add all spices powder, salt, sugar or jaggery and it covers with the lid and cook for 10 minutes on the medium flame. Now open the lid and add chopped oregano leaves, basil leaves, and vinegar mix well and cook for 5 minutes. When your sauce cooked thick and remove it from the heat.
