Colocasia fried (Arbi ke pakode) recipe




Ingredients :
  • 250 gm. colocasia (arbi) peeled
  • 1/2 cup gram flour 
  • 1 tbsp rice flour 
  • salt to taste
  • 2 chopped green chilies
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp roasted cumin seeds
  • 2 pinch asafoetida(hing)
  • 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • Oil for frying
  • Few  fried curry leaves for garnishing 
Method :

In a blender, add peeled colocasia blend and transfer in a bowl. Now add salt, all flour, asafoetida, red chilly, lemon juice, roasted cumin seeds,turmeric powder, green chilly and it mix well. Now heat oil in a pan and fry colocasia pakoda all side till golden brown and drain on the paper towel.  Garnish with fried curry leaves. Serve with any sauce and chutney.
