Stuffed paratha with urad dal(urad dal ki paratha)

Stuffed paratha with urad dal
Urad dal ki paratha, make very tasty and delicias.

Ingredients for paratha stuffing :

  • 1 cup split urad dal(dhooli urad dal)
  • 4 garlic cloves finely chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 2 green chilly finely chopped
  • 10-15 curry leaves finely chopped
  • 1 pinch asafoetida(hing)
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 12 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp red chilly powder
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala
  • 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • salt to taste

Ingredients for paratha atta dough:
  • 400 gms. wheat flour(gehun ka atta)
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • needed water for dough 
  • oil or ghee for fry
Method :
Soak split urad dal for 5-6 hrs. Now drain of all water and blend it in a blender. Now heat oil in a pan, add cumin, mustard seeds,asafoetida, curry leaves it crackle and add chopped garlic, green chilly and just add ginger paste and saute for 1 minute. Now add urad dal paste,salt, turmeric,red chilly garam masala and it stir -fry for 10 minutes and remove from the heat and mix chopped coriander leaves and keep aside. Now take a large bowl, add flour, salt,baking soda, 1 tbsp oil and mix it with hand and add of water needed for dough. Now ready your smoothy atta dough. Now take a pieces of atta dough and make small ball of it, flatten, dust with flour and fill urad dal ready stir-fry and making a round ball. Now dust the surface with flour on the chakla and pat with light hand after rolling round roti or paratha with rolling pin. Now heat tawa and put paratha on the tawa. Now add 1 tbsp oil and fry it till it becomes golden brown and remove the plate. Serve with any chutney.
