Poro (malabar)ka saag recipe

Marble's saag is very cool and recipe is tasty.
cooked malabar saag 
Ingredients : 
  • 1 bunch malabar saag(poro saag) wash and chopped
  • 1 small onion finely chopped 
  • 2 green chillies 
  • 5-8 curry leaves
  • 1/2 tsp cumin and mustard seeds 
  • 1 tsp split urad dal
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp butter or oil 
  • 1 tbsp butter for garnish 
Method :
In a  pressure cooker keep saag and cook for 5 minutes. Now remove cooker from the heat and it keep aside to cool. After cooling the saag add the saag, green chillies in a blender and finely blend it. Now heat oil or butter in a pan, add cumin, mustard seeds, urad dal, curry leaves. Let it crackle and add chopped onion and saute for 2 minutes. Add saag paste. salt and stir it for 5-7 minutes and remove from the heat and garnish with butter. Serve with roti, paratha.
