Nenua-aloo(sponge gourd-potato) mix sabzi recipe

Sponge gourd-potato mix sabzi is very tasty and my favorite dish. I hope all like and try it.
cooked nenua-aloo ki sabzi

  • 1/2 kg. sponge gourd(nenua)peel,wash and chopped
  • 2 boiled potatoes peel and chopped
  • 1 large chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 8-10 curry leaves
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp red chilly powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • salt to taste 
Method :
Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and crackle it now add onion and curry leaves saute for 2 minutes and add chopped sponge gourd and salt saute and it cover with lid and cook for 3 minutes. Now open lid and stir, add of all spices and mix well. Now after 2 minutes add boiled potatoes and it stir 5-7 minutes and remove from heat. Serve with rice, paratha, rotis.
